1941 Connie Mack (50) Years as a Big League Manager Golden Anniversary Fete at Shibe park Newspaper. A Philadelphia Daily News Section (Not complete) highlighting plans for the Philadelphia A's to honor their patriarchal figure with a Night of his Own at Shibe Park on August 4, 1941. Wonderful front page shows Mack along with Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, Tris Speaker, Lefty Grove, Honus Wagner, etc. Mack is inset center and the caption reads: "Grand Old Man of Baseball. On back is scorecard for the Game between Yanks & A's. Sensational Mack piece. Lots of wear. Fair/Good condition.
