The great French Boxing Champion is featured on this 1938 Churchman's Cigarettes card. Carpentier fought both as a light heavyweight and heavyweight. He may best be remembered fighting for the World Heavyweight Championship against Jack Dempsey in 1921 (Carpentier lost). Small bio on back. Clean card. Ex condition
