1929 Churchman's Cigarettes - Babe Ruth Card # 25 - Better to High Grade. Not graded. One of the more unheralded and often overlooked Babe Ruth issues. This originally came from a set entitled: Sports & Games in Many Lands. Better to High Grade. PLEASE NOTE: This card (raw and ungraded) does not actually say the name: Babe Ruth on it, however it is implied that this is, indeed, the Sultan of Swat. SGC Grading Co. (example) on the right clearly says the name Babe Ruth on the slabbed heading. Conversely, PSA Grading Co. (not shown) does not mention Ruth's name on its slabbed heading. The SGC Graded example is for reference only and NOT INCLUDED in this lot. The photo on the right is courtesy of Heritage Auctions and for reference only.
